Craving something new? Perhaps you’re seeking one of your traditional favorites while on your annual trip to Frankenmuth? Whatever your reason for dining at Bavarian Inn Lodge, we have three unique restaurants open each day–featuring some of the most amazing dishes available in Frankenmuth. Foodies NEED to check out these entrees at the Lodge.

  1. Deluxe Pizza

Where to Get It: Ratskeller

When you’re looking to please a large group, you can never go wrong with a good cheesy pizza. Choose a Deluxe and pick any five toppings. We have the flavors you love with sizes that can satisfy any group size. We even offer a 2-foot-long rectangular pizza for the biggest parties! Gluten-free? Try our delicious cauliflower crust pizza. Adult visitors can also enjoy 70+ beer and malt beverage options at Ratskeller.

  1. Southwestern Haystack Burger

Where to Get It: Lorelei Lounge

Feeling a little feisty? Go beyond your typical, run-of-the-mill burger! Our Southwestern Haystack burger is more than a quarter-pound of Certified Angus Beef®, topped with BBQ sauce, cheddar and Pepper Jack cheeses, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and haystack onions served on an Everything Bun. Grilled and seasoned to order. And if that’s not enough food for you, all our burgers are served with fries.

  1. German Potato Cheese Dumplings

Where to Get It: Oma’s Restaurant

These appetizers are a guest-favorite at Oma’s restaurant. Our Bavarian specialty, these dumplings are potatoes filled with cheddar cheese, parsley, and onions–fried to be crisp on the outside while still soft and moist inside. Perfect for yourself or the whole table.

  1. Gourmet Toasted Subs

Where to Get It: Ratskeller

Besides pizza, pretzels, and sweets, the Ratskeller also serves a wide array of savory 8” toasted subs. Choose from Chicken Bacon Ranch to Turkey Bacon to Veggie, for a delicious gourmet sub!

  1. Salmon Beurre Blanc

Where to Get It: Oma’s Restaurant

A perfectly seared 6 oz. salmon filet, finished with a buttery scallion beurre blanc sauce. You need to taste this salmon to believe it. All entrees at Oma’s come served with two of our delectable sides and a garlic Parmesan breadstick.

  1. Brisket Melt Sandwich

Where to Get It: Oma’s Restaurant

Oma (grandma) always knows your favorite. Our brisket is smoked, slow-cooked, and “melt in your mouth” tender. This hearty melt is layered with cheeses–including cheddar, mozzarella, provolone, and muenster. Then topped off with bacon, green onions, and a BBQ sauce finish. One of our many signature items.

  1. Reuben Egg Rolls

Where to Get It: Lorelei Lounge

You may be wondering how Reuben sandwiches and Egg Rolls go together, but you’ll be surprised at how tantalizing this flavor pairing is. Two egg rolls are stuffed with corned beef, Swiss cheese, Bavarian Inn sauerkraut, coupled with our homemade Thousand Island dressing.

  1. Banana Nut French Toast

Where to Get It: Oma’s Restaurant

Can’t forget breakfast! Our suggestion is the Banana Nut French Toast at Oma’s Restaurant. It’s always a crowd-pleaser, and not too savory for gentle morning stomachs. We hand dip our homemade banana bread in a mixture of whipped eggs, then grill until it’s crispy and brown. Pair with bacon, ham, or sausage if you’re extra hungry.

  1. Willy’s Big Pretzel

Where to Get It: Ratskeller

At 12 inches roughly in diameter, this is a pretzel fit for a dragon! Or a great appetizer to share, your choice. Big pretzels served at the Ratskeller come with your choice of Cheese Sauce or Grey Poupon mustard.

  1. Bavarian Inn Frankenmuth Chicken

Where to Get It: Oma’s Restaurant

If you’ve never tried our world-famous Frankenmuth Chicken, you’re truly missing out. Our fresh and natural chicken legs, breasts, and thighs are lightly breaded and flavored with our special blend of seasonings then quickly fried. Every bite is moist and full of flavor. A pairing of homemade dressing, whipped potatoes, hot gravy, vegetable du jour and garlic Parmesan breadstick makes this meal fit for a king.

  1. Sunday Brunch at the Lodge

Where to Get It: Bavarian Inn Lodge Courtyard

Our Sunday Brunch is available to guests each and every Sunday morning. It’s also open to the public, just call for a reservation and enjoy! The meal and experience is well worth the trip, even if you don’t plan on staying the night.

Each Sunday, we offer two different types of carved meats with an assortment of breakfast items and lunch items.  This includes our famous Bavarian Inn Chicken and all the side items, as well as omelet and Belgian waffle stations. But that’s not all! We have a great salad station with lots of options and a dessert station too. All you care to eat.

The buffet is served poolside every Sunday from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in our indoor courtyard and is accompanied by live entertainment from local pianists. Come enjoy a lovely brunch with us soon!
